The WMSS is dedicated to promoting the sport of Mounted Shooting in Canada through sportsmanship, horsemanship and firearms safety.

We are a not for profit Mounted Shooting club based in Central Alberta. The club has been asked to shoot at rodeos and equine events this summer and we also hold regular Practices.

We believe in a system of transparency and honesty...where the Payout system and the Rules are clearly outlined. But, most importantly we are a group who would just like to shoot and have fun doing it!

Check the Events page for our 2012 dates. We are affiliated with the Western States Shooting Association and are hosting 3 qualifier shoots this summer. If you would like to qualify to attend the finals in Nampa, Idaho on Sept. 28-30 you will need to attend 1 regular WSSA shoot and the finals at Rimbey.
